Water to the Moo

With so much activities Tim and I were hoping to cover during our time at the Gold Coast, we had originally set out to commit an entire Sunday for plenty of water sport activities. The first part of our itinerary was to try out for the very first time the ‘Zorb Ball’. Basically what it is is a massive inflatable size ball that you climb into with your partner, unharnessed with 40 litres of water inside while the ball is pushed down a hillside moving both the water along with your partner and you around in it. Drenched and tossed around in the ball, it was all laughs and cackles for me and Tim while we collided multiple times inside that thing with the water splashed up in every direction. If the cost of each ride wasn’t as expensive as it was then we wouldn’t have hesitated giving the ride another shot at a go. But we were considering saving it for another time and occasion possibly during our future plans when we head overseas. Nevertheless, highly recommend for everyone to try the Zorb ball out for themselves!

Next up on our Sunday water sports itinerary, we drove to the Sea World Resort and Water Park in time to get picked up by our pre-booked boat, set out for some parasailing time! Gold Coast weather has really got to be credited for that weekend; it was just so nice to be out in such beautiful weather and warm climate even though Australia is heading close winter. Parasailing high above with the company of my boyfriend was just lovely: the view, the sunset, the warm weather. I’m anxious to see how our professional parasailing photos taken of us that afternoon finally arrives in the mail. But really, we couldn’t have picked a much better time to go parasailing than that beautiful time of the afternoon. With the sun slowly beginning to set, we spent the remainder of the afternoon full throttling around on jet skis before heading back to our hotel in preparation for a little more fancy night out later that night.

If it was one touristy moment Tim and I did visit on the trip, was to check out Skypoint on top of Q1 - the World’s tallest residential building. It took no longer than 43 seconds in the elevator to reach Skypoint, from the base of the building to the very top, which felt super smoothly quick! Overlooking the Gold Coast city lights was just beautiful and it was rather surreal knowing how far above absolutely everything we were. So after a few snaps here and there of the scenery Tim and I headed to Broadbeach just in time for our reservation at Moo Moo Wine bar and Grill Restaurant for a long night of fine dining on our last night on vacation. Moo Moo is highly rated for their meat dishes and personally I highly recommend this restaurant for all to try if you fancy high quality service, good food and especially a good selection of wines. It was a perfect evening with the perfect partner, the perfect way to end our final night in the Gold Coast.

Rise and Shine, it's water sports time haha!
