Phuket shows us how to bar hop... messy styles!

Another day in Phuket, another full day of indulgement. It was our final day along the beach sides of Patong before having to journey our way the following morning to Koh Samui Island in preparation for the Full Moon party. And after a full day before that of sunshine and swimming, it really didn’t feel like it was enough. So we decided to explore along Patong Beach a little more, however we were convinced by Fung to sneak into a nearby resort that she had previously stayed before while she was last there on holidays. And so without any difficulty and risky business we snuck ourselves into ‘The Merlin Beach Resort’ just for the heck of it LOL and spent the entire day by the resort’s gorgeous massive poolside with a few good cocktails in the pool at their in-pool bar. Tanning, Relaxation, Hilarious swimming routines and plenty of laughs. Couldn’t have felt more perfect! I’ll try to upload a few amusing videos of us ‘in-the-moment’ while singing along to a few good tracks that were being pumped through the resort's stereo. Behaving quite childishly we seized the moment to record ourselves and create our own music video to go with the song that was being played at the time on the stereo HAHA - the odd things people get up to when they’re on holidays! Drawing closer to afternoon we went back to our favourite little massage parlour and got ourselves extensive pampering sessions of foot and body massages. Each of us eventually grew quite close bonds with our misuse and so the lot of us decided to share our very own ‘Oprah’ moment lol and donated quite a portion of our remaining money that day to them. It was a very rewarding feeling, and those ladies were lovely! They really appreciated our generosity. As we see it, good karma comes a long way.

After feeling so incredibly relaxed and good willed, it was back to our apartment to freshen up and set ourselves for an intense night out of drinking considering we have yet to get around to it with such a busy and tiring schedule ever since we arrived in Thailand! Our initial intention was to actually try and watch a ‘Ping pong show’. For those who are unsure what a Ping Pong Show is, then it’s basically a popular stage performance, where a Female does funny stuff with the vagina. By ‘funny stuff’ I mean like, where odd objects are thrown around using 'it' LOL! But anyway, feeling rather uncomfortable after stepping into the room, the lot of us just wanted out. So unfortunately that was an experience we were all ready to pass out on, or really, rather it was probably only watchable if we were intoxicated enough to sit through it.

And so, the night was beginning to turn late quite quickly. So we needed a drink soon and we really needed one fast. First part of the nights crawl began at Banana Discothèque. Crazy crazy club! The music everywhere in Phuket was just incredibly pumping! Definitely beats most Aussie DJ’s by far! After only spending a few odd hours in Banana discotheque, we wanted explore more of Phuket’s clubbing strip. Literally everywhere you walk is already a party. We found ourselves stumbling out of the club being rowdier as ever, singing and shouting as we walked the streets before winding up along the beach for a beach party that was happening. Spending little time at each stop to maximise our club experience in Phuket as much as we could, the crawl continued onto several passing bars and clubs. Binging on way too much alcohol along the way, dancing on bar tables and literally crawling to each bar, we finally ended our night at nightclub called ‘Famous’ in which was highly recommended by a lot of Tourists. Anyone who’s actually been there can agree how pimping this nightclub is! My mates and I knew how messy the night was expected to turn out, however by the time we were at Famous things were just out of control and messy! Wayy too much fun! I’ve pretty much tortured my liver that night. But club hopping in Phuket will forever be an extremely memorable experience. I would do it all over if I have to anyday…

Clubbing in Thongs and Sandals. That's Thailand!
