After such a heavy first night of drinking at my Queensland Weekend getaway to celebrate a few of my friends birthdays, to no surprises we woke up far too late to even consider going to a theme park that we were all initially hoping on going that next morning. So it called for a full day of R&R; early tanning sessions by the resorts’ lagoon pool, shopping around town and basically browsing around the streets of Gold coast – the touristy stuff of course! It’s probably the first proper time I’ve actually visited the Gold Coast ever, so it was nice to see part of what Queensland had to offer. Plans for later that night out my friends and I basically booked ourselves a recommended ‘Club Hopping programme’ that was available everywhere in the Gold Coast to organise through. This programme was basically a prearranged ‘Club Hopping’ night out for you and your friends, where the agenda of your night begins at a pick up location taking you around town in a hummer limousine with drinks provided during the process and covered entry to three major nightclubs in the Gold Coast: Vanity Nightclub, Shooters Nightclub and Sin City Nightclub. Along each club pit stop, drinks was always provided. For many of us, this club hopping programme eventually turned very messy. It was definitely a very convenient way to try out different venues in the Gold Coast especially when most of my friends and I weren’t so familiar with the more ‘popular’ clubs available there. Two nights in a row of drinking absolutely made me sick by the end of the second night!
