Herroo Thailand! It's time to pamper...

After several days in Malaysia it was finally time for a good week of soaking up plenty of Vitamin D, pampering and relaxation on our third destination Thailand! I personally absolutely loved Thailand. There’s always something about sweltering heat, super cheap local costs, exotic food and beaches that’s always so appealing. Our time and itinerary in Thailand was definitely very exhausting with absolutely so much to do each day. And a week’s stay seriously did not feel like there was enough time to really do everything!

After only an hour and a half flight from Malaysia to Phuket – Thailand, we immediately checked into our greatly anticipated gorgeous three bedroom apartment at The Baycliff Condominium Hotel in which had its very own private plunge pool before exploring along the hustle and bustle of Phuket’s beachside Patong. We spent our first few nights within that area. Patong is seriously loaded with tourists, particularly Aussies everywhere! I was also surprised at how easy the language barrier was with the locals. It was a relief to not struggle too at all with communication.

Upon initial arrival that day there was no doubt that we immediately sought out to go get ourselves pampered. We deserved it :) Both a foot and body massage, to pedicures, to manicures... the lot! However interestingly enough the one thing I highly recommend anyone to try out while you’re in Thailand is the Doctor Fish! Basically your feet are placed into an aquarium where tonns of these tiny little fish (called Doctor Fish) begin to leech onto your feet and start nibbling off all your dead skin! It’s so surreal and really creepy, however extremely ticklish! Highly not recommend to those who are extremely sensitive to tickling. I’ll try to post up a video of us the moment our feet were getting nibbled on. Hilarious pampering fun! Later that following first night in Phuket nothing else was better than utilising the fascilities of our Hotel pool with a silly late night swimming session with our dirt cheap alcohol purchased from trusty 7 Eleven! You can’t go wrong when a litre beer only cost about $3! We definitely lived it up in only the first night in Thailand...
