Hong Kong: Concrete jungle where dreams are made of

After our overnight stay in Macau, most of us all couldn’t really anticipate shopping much further. So once again, back on the road… well ferry technically haha. We crossed the border into Hong Kong finally and at this point we were feeling rather relieved to be checking into our second last hotel, The Royal Plaza Hotel, with a break from travelling. It became aware to us that we won’t be travelling with our luggages anymore for over a week while we were in Hong Kong which was a relief considering how much time we spent travelling everywhere when were in Thailand. So our first few activities on our agenda during our next few days stay in Hong Kong were basically to just simply shop until we dropped. Hitting all major hotspots during our time there such as: TST, IFC, Causeway bay, Mong Kok. Prowling the market streets also such as the Famous Ladies Markets and ultimately raiding every Zara and H&M’s there was in Hong Kong haha. We were always so horribly tired from the amount of shopping bags we carried by the end of every shopping trip to the point that it that carrying shopping bags felt like lifting weights. Plus it all left us with major shopping bag burns on our arms, haha. Love it! The saving up was very worth it for that very moment. Oh how did I miss shopping!
