Melbourne Memories: The 1st leg of the epic journey

So it was finally the big day of our (w/ Amelia, Fung, Melissa, Phi & Steven) trip across Asia! We had 6 major pitt stops over a span of 3 weeks and a bit. Crossing over destinations such as: Melbourne, Malaysia, Thailand, Macau, Hong Kong and Queensland. The morning of the day felt absolutely so long anticipating flying out later that night to our first pitt stop Melbourne. Unfortunately, the anticipation couldn’t have heighten further when our flight was slowly being delayed every half an hour almost, totalling in the end of 2 hours before finally flying out. But it didn't suppress our spirits but only fast tracked our drunken shenanigans even more when we arrived in Melbourne. Experiencing the most extreme… We decided since we were only planning on staying in Melbourne for one night and with such an early flight and especially it being a Friday night, we did the almost crazy and chucked an all nighter without bothering to hire a place to stay that night. So the plan ended up having our luggage stored at the airport and starting our trip with a bang at Neverland Nightclub in Melbourne. With most of us already prepared for the event, we saved ourselves time and made sure we were already prettied up prior to the flight. And so there it was, the first pitt stop of our trip began at midnight in Melbourne. In a span of less than 30 mins, I'm not quite sure how many shots and side alcoholic beverages we consumed to fast track our fun that night at the club. It was definitely pumping and all of us were a wreck in minutes! The night took its toll with drinking, dancing and singing aka. shouting. It was great to run into a few Sydney/Melbourne friends at the venue, which made the night even more chaotic. But after such a quick messy night my travelling buddies and I realised we were stuck without a place to refreshen up right after such a big night already. Feeling rather sick we simply headed straight back to Melbourne's international airport at dawn to collect our luggage and prepare ourselves for a long flight in less than a few hours to our second destination Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia. You could only imagine how wrecked we all were after such a messy start. But hands down it was such a fun messy night with the rest of our trip only just beginning. And so the wait for our flight couldn’t have felt grosser. Having to only be able to use the facilities of the Airport restrooms, feeling ultra hung over and sleep deprived for a 7 hour flight was not very appealing. Nevertheless it made the trip a whole lot crazier than expected. But things were only just beginning...
