The Good Life

Happy birthday to my Godfather today! Besides work, it was just a family night tonight. A brief dinner catch up at a fairly local Vietnamese cuisines restaurant Gia Hoi in Canley Heights (Sydney's west) with my family - nothing fancy at all. Followed to finish of over a yummy green tea flavoured cake I bought for my godfather from a cute Korean Patisserie for the occasion. Spent the remainder of the night huddled with my girls Vanna, Catherine and Amanda over at my house having our well over-due catch up sessions. It's been a while since we've all caught up together. It was good to share long conversations and crack a few laughs here and there. I've secretly missed them... not like I'll ever admit and tell them because I'll just rub off as weak amongst our group lol... by that I meant that we're just genuinely rough and tough with one another. Our friendship isn’t fake… None of that 'babe' bullshit. To be honest, we're quite rude to each other lol. However keeping it brief tonight, feeling rather lethargic than ever, in short… completely content being able to catch up with most of my loved one's all in a single night tonight. The good life.

Yummiest green tea cake ever!

  2. I bought that from a Korean Patisserie called "Joseph's bakery" I think from memory? hehe... It's located on the main shopping strip at Lidcombe right by Lidcombe Train Station. They're cake prices are amazinggg!
