Super Supafest

Waking up feeling extra lethargic from the previous night’s antics it took Tim and me a while to get up Saturday morning to make our way to Supafest Festival at ANZ Stadium. Thanks to my company for the best complementary tickets as always, we rocked the concert with Bling Ring tickets of course. Although it would have been awesome to be working with few of my other workmates backstage that day, but it has been such a rather stressful week lately that there was nothing more I wanted to do than to just enjoy the concert with the boyfriend and friends, especially after working on promotions for this event for so long now, I’ve been anticipating finally being able to watch the final end product! However, it did suck to miss out all the interesting stories and goss that all my work mates came back into the office today to share with about each of the artists. However there’s always the next concert coming up to have the opportunity to work backstage with the artists. Nevertheless, Tim and I arrived at the Festival just in time for Ciara late in the afternoon, and luckily for us we managed to skip all the crazy bar lines and grabbed us up as much grog as we could to get our party started already. All the artists were spectacular as anticipated… and I was so glad about the variety of the better and older tracks you just don’t hear anymore lately originally produced by few of the artists, especially Snoop Dogg. Don’t you just miss the good old RNB and Hip Hop? With such a new wave of crossover genres nowadays with pop/house, nothing really beats the classics. Supafest definitely delivered a less ‘commercial’ concert. Overall, I’m so proud to be working with UrbanAgent after seeing what a great success Supafest turned out to be and with plenty more future prospects to come!
